Is there a way to pass on the symbols that meet a certain condition to an external application e.g. through an API or any other alternative)
Thanks

There is no built in way of doing so in TC2000 version 12.3. If you need just the symbols without data, it might be possible to do so using an external macro program of some sort, by automating a copy and paste of all symbols from an EasyScan. I really couldn't help you with the process however as we do not support third party products.

Bruce, any hint on "it might be possible to do so using an external macro program of some sort, by automating a copy and paste of all symbols from an EasyScan" what software/how? All I need is the count of the Easyscan results.

Basically if you can do it by typing on the keyboard and moving and clicking with the mouse, you can probably do it with an automatation program of some sort. A search for AutoIT (one of many such programs) returns the following forum topics.
Timed Internet Updates
Automation - updating data on a schedule
auto update
Telechart and AutoIT script - have to be logged into windows
Automatic database update w/TC2000V7
Macro Express Unhooked on Version 7
TC2000 API or AutoIt use?
I have not reviewed these topics for content as we cannot actually provide support for third party products.
