could you please let me know the formulas or/and real code in SF for calculating Fund Rank vs Category.

Do I undestand it correctly that you take all gains or losses for all funds in a category for the period of last N bars and give them rank from 1 to 100? what is the smooth coefficient then?

thank you

The Indicator was created using a Block Diagram. You can look at the Block Diagram by Editing the Indicator and then selecting Block Diagram (near the lower left hand corner).

Block Diagrams have been de-emphasized in StockFinder but the Your First 3 Block Diagrams video covers creating Block Diagrams. Most people don't do much with Block Diagrams and use Drag and Drop or RealCode exclusively.

The Indicator calculates a Percentile Rank versus other symbols in its Fund Category of the Price Percent Change over the Period (adjustments are made for distributions). The Smooth is an optional (it doesn't change anything if the Period is 1) Moving Average applied to the Percentile Rank (not the Price Percent Change) before the Indicator is Plotted.
