I would like to edit the cross-hair/splitter code so that in the pop-up value box, showing the day, H,L,C,O, etc. will also show the number of bars from the right edge of the chart to the cross-hair. I can't recall how to access the cross-hair.
Thanks,
Bob M

You should be able to Open an attached Indicator directly into a running copy of StockFinder 5 (and save it from within StockFinder 5 if desired). You could also copy and paste the Indicator into the \My Documents\StockFinder5\(Your Username)\My Indicators\ folder and then load it like you would any other Indicator. Attachments: Bars from Right.sfInd - 5 KB, downloaded 587 time(s).

Hi Bruce. I added this indicator to a chart, then went to save the indicator.
The default save location is:
C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5\OGQVVDOZ
note: "User Name" replaced with ".." by me
Shouldn't the default location always be set to the MyDocument/StockFinder/"User"/MyIndicators folder?
I'm sure I never (purposely) changed the default folder.

If you load a file from disk and then save it, it will save back to the same location you loaded it from. I think that's what is happening in this case. StockFinder is seeing the file as being loaded from your temp folder because that's where Internet Explorer put it before it got loaded into StockFinder.
Try Saving it from the Forums instead. That way you should be able to specify the location where you want it saved (if that's how IE is set up - that's how my browser is set up) or at least will know where it is so you can copy it to the desired folder if it saves to a download folder of some sort instead.

Thanks Bruce.
I just changed the saved folder location via "save indicator." You do however have to expand "details" to know where it is being saved and to change the location if desired.
Thanks again Bruce.
