I must apologise for the way I posed my original request for help. It invited confusion. I would like to restate it: I would like to be able to identify a list of stock whose today's MACD 2,8,1 is equal to or geater than the MACD's lower BB 20 period 16 SD [Worden's 1.6 SD]. [After reading thru some of the discussions under the broad term of calculating BBs, I would ask only that it would parallel the results one gets graphically on a solitary plot of the MACD 2.81 and of the BB 20 Periods 16SD of that plot.
Thank you!!

Please try the following:
XAVGC2 - XAVGC8 >= AVG(XAVGC2,20) - AVG(XAVGC8,20) - 1.6 * SQR(ABS((XAVGC2 - XAVGC8) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.1 - XAVGC8.1) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.2 - XAVGC8.2) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.3 - XAVGC8.3) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.4 - XAVGC8.4) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.5 - XAVGC8.5) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.6 - XAVGC8.6) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.7 - XAVGC8.7) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.8 - XAVGC8.8) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.9 - XAVGC8.9) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.10 - XAVGC8.10) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.11 - XAVGC8.11) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.12 - XAVGC8.12) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.13 - XAVGC8.13) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.14 - XAVGC8.14) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.15 - XAVGC8.15) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.16 - XAVGC8.16) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.17 - XAVGC8.17) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.18 - XAVGC8.18) ^ 2 + (XAVGC2.19 - XAVGC8.19) ^ 2 - 20 * (AVG(XAVGC2,20) - AVG(XAVGC8,20)) ^ 2) / 19)
If the MACD is Simple, eliminate all of the Xs from the formula:
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
