I swear, one day we are down 200 plus on the Dow, and now here we are up 100+ again today. I sold out all of my positions yesterday fearing an impending correction. Now I wished I didn't. Are any of you long or short at this point?

Well, Trade: I'm still long. only one of my guys hit the sell point this week, the rest are wandering around like they have been shellshocked.

Howdy Traderm:
Take a look at my chart below. in the yellow box. Look familiar? Back in November we had the same kind of market condition. There are ways to trade this chop: I use stochastic to trade the ranges or just daytrade..

Thanks Apsll. I'll just need to adjust my strategy accordingly.

Monday was really pretty tough for me.
Last three days have been positive overall. And I've only had 45 mins or so of each morning of actual active trading to make it count. Doing the rest over my phone while in presentations.
Not holding any positions overnight any longer. This market has me really confused (not that this is hard to do).
Was able to take advantage of the news in PCBC last night by making 4 round trip trades on it today. Two long and two short. Three with significant gains. This one stock pretty much made my week.
I am very new but slowly developing my own strategy about watching for huge dropouts like that and immediately playing into the direction I see it going when the bell rings. This was the first big payoff for me doing that.

still long, but pulling back some on risk...adding more gold
People looking to get heavily short in this environment are still stuck in 2008 or too fixated on trying to call a top. it's a fools errand.

Back row so no one can see my computer screen tracking stocks on the google finance page. :-)
