Having problems with a very simple algorithm to compare daily volume for the previous two days.  My PCF is V1 > V2 AND V2 > V3 AND (V1 > (V3 * 1.5)).  I'm looking for increasing volume.  What am I doing wrong?

I couldn't say what you are doing wrong as I'm not sure how your definition of "increasing volume" differs from your Personal Criteria Formula.

I can tell you that your current PCF should return True when the Volume of the previous Bar is greater than both the Volume of 2-Bars Ago and 1.5 times the Volume of 3-Bars Ago and the Volume of 2-Bars Ago is greater than the Volume of 3-Bars Ago.

How does this differ from the increasing volume you are attempting to identify for the previous two days?

Your interpretation is correct, yet when I include this PCF into an Easyscan, the resulting stocks do not reveal the visible daily volume increase which I expect.  Far from it, in some cases.  Example: First 3 stocks that come up when I run this scan are AGN, AES, and CNO.  Any suggestions?

None of the symbols given returns True for the Personal Criteria Formula when updating through today on my computer. You may wish to try recreating the PCF and EasyScan.

Using EasyScan to find stocks that meet your own criteria
