I'm developing layouts to rank the industry groups.
a) please confirm morningstar industry data is only available as end of day
b) how do I turn off real time data while doing analysis on eod data (during market hours); i'm assuming this will stop the updates and speed up the analysis while toggling between screens
c) can this change be limited to the current layout / chart; so I retain the real time feature on other tickers, etc.
d) how do I apply ranking to the "main" groups; when I try using "ind rank vs all industries" on the "main" groups, the resulting dispaly is the same for all goups as i toggle through the 31 groups?
With the 31 groups loaded under the main watchlist screen, the 31 groups are my watch list, yet the "symbol rank vs watchlist" uses nas100? How do I create the index of my watchlist and/or why doesn't all industry work with the 31 groups?
Thanks in advance.

Just a note that Ranking is incredibly resource intensive. If would recommend using values instead if possible.

Morningstar Industry data is only available as EOD data.

I do not know of a way to turn off RT data in the current version of StockFinder.
It is possible to use a non-streaming Time Frame to avoid actually updating anything in Real Time on your Charts. You can do so by selecting the Time Frame and choosing Edit | Add (check Do not use streaming data on the Time Frame you wish to add).

If you want to Rank by Main Group instead of Sub Group, left-click on the Industry RANK vs All Industries to bring up the Main tab of the Edit window and change the Industry from Morningstar Sub to Morningstar Main.

Yes, because the Indicator was designed with a user specifiable Watchlist which can be adjusted by left-clicking on the Symbol RANK vs Watchlist Indicator to bring up the Main tab of its Edit window and changing the Watch List setting.
You could modify the Indicator to use the Active Watchlist instead by adjusting its Block Diagram.
- Right-click on the Symbol RANK vs Watchlist Indicator and select Block Diagram.
- Left-click and Drag on the InputList Input of the Rank vs List (Percent Rank) Block.
- Select Link From Another Tool | Main WatchList.
- Right-click on the unconnected Block and select Remove.
