Hi Guys,
Just wanted to drop you a line to see if you know the best way to sort for leading/lagging industry sectors as a starting point to look for leading/lagging stocks in those industries.
I have looked in the Indexes Watchlist and added some of these to a personal watchlist BKX.X & BTK.X for example. Should I just sort by this all Indices in this list to get those high/low performers?
Also, is 'Blocks' a tool specifically designed for scanning stocks as per criteria you specify or can this also be done (to a lesser extent probably) by setting up easy scans in Telechart.
Regards,

StockFinder and TeleChart are both technical analysis software.
StockFinder vs. TeleChart Features
Both are capable of doing analysis similar to what you are suggesting. Two videos demonstrating such techniques in StockFinder are:
Rank by Stock and Industry Performance
Working with Industry Ranking
Similar techniques can also be implemented in TeleChart:
Uncover the stocks driving the strongest industry groups
Identify sectors gaining momentum over the past few months
Industries With Consistent Performance over Specific Time Periods
Sorting Stocks by their Absolute or Relative Performance
Using the Industry Menu to analyze stocks relative to their industries and sub-industries
Use Comparison and Relative Strength graphs to compare a stock to the rest of its industry group
