I would like to create a 2nd Frame with another chart and watchlist (My Watchlist) and want this new chart to only respond to selections in "My Watchlist".  I want the initial chart to continue to respond to selections in the "Main Watchlist".  In the block diagram for the new chart, I selected "My Watchlist.Selected" for the main symbol.  This tied "My Watchlist" to the new chart, BUT, it also still affects the original Main Chart.  I tried to select "Main Watchlist.Selected" in the block diagram for the main chart, but it will not select - instead, it selects "Watchlist Grid.Selected".

Is it possible to have 2 charts, with 1 chart responding only to selections in the main watchlist and the other chart responding only to selections in a second watchlist window?

Thanks,
Doug

Try changing the Is Primary WatchList setting to False for the Main Watchlist (which just so happens to be name Watchlist Grid by default).

Bruce,
How do I get to the "Is primary watchlist" setting?

Sorry, I thought since you were already editing the Block Diagrams of the Main Symbol for the Main Chart and the new Chart (you'll still need to make the changes you described), you would know how to get to the Block Diagram and Settings for the Main Watchlist as well (bad assumption, but you were already going places where the menus no longer tread).

- Right-click on something with a Block Diagram setting such as Price History and select Block Diagram.
- Select the + next to Main WatchList on the Right.
- Left-click on the other Main WatchList that appears to bring up its Block Diagram.
- Left-click on the Bar with the periods between the down arrows to expand the Properties.
- One of the Settings will be Is Primary WatchList.

Thanks, works perfect now.  I never would have noticed the dotted bar!
