I would like to know if you can write a pcf for finding the low or high in tsv over a period of time say 50 day which would be part of a bigger pcf that would be used to scan for stock ready to rally or selloff depending on which part of the scan they show up on.

Visual sorting of TSV is the quickest way to find SV hitting new highs or lows for specified time periods. And this method does not require the use of formulas.

For a quick lesson on how this works click this link:

This will return the value of the max high in the last 21 days for a TSV of 18:

MAX(TSV18,25)

The min low

MIN(TSV18,25)

Yes, that should help but I want to compare the last tsv to say the last 25 days before it so should MIN(tsv18.1,25) work.

It will work to compare the TSV today to the lowest (or highest) TSV. If you want to compare the TSV today (TSV18) to the TSV 25 days ago (TSV18.25) use that syntax.
