I would like to make a scan that shows on the slow stochastic, stocks on a daily time frame that are overbought or oversold; where the other line actually crosses over to show its about to change trend. I just signed up to this site so please tell me the steps in a simplistic way. Thank you very much in advance.

What Stochastics settings are you planning to use, dadonnum1? The formula for this is not difficult, so when we get your settings, we can get you up and running.

Try this for me:
(STOC21.8>80 AND STOC21.8<AVG(STOC21.8,3) AND STOC21.8.1>AVG(STOC21.8.1,3)) OR (STOC21.8<20 AND STOC21.8>AVG(STOC21.8,3) AND STOC21.8.1<AVG(STOC21.8.1,3))
