Trying to use the following to show me stocks where the current bar's Close is above the 200 bar simple ma and below the 5 bar simple ma
(C) > (AVGC200 )and (C) <(AVGC5)
Doesn't seem to work. Scan using condition today shows VNO and GOOG as meeting the criteria. Both are > than the 5 bar Ma. What am I doing wrong?

Arfe there any indicators for Volatility type stops?

What is the syntax in a 4 hour chart for the following:
C > O
When I use the above it seems to base its response on the close and open for the two bar day not just the last bar. I would like it to trigger if the last 4 hour bar has a C that is greater than the open regardless of what the previous 4 hour bas is.

What is the proper way to enter the following using for four hour bars?
C>C(1)

For an increase in the OBV from yesterday the PCF OBV5 > OBV5.1 seems to work. I want to do the same thing for the Volume Zone Oscillator, but VZO5 > VZO5.1 doesn't seem to do the trick. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
Is there one place we can go to get a the names of the different indicators etc. are so we can use them in PCFs?

Thank you for your help.

Could I get some help in finding a PCF for finding out if the range of todays bar isnarrower than the range of any of the last eight bars?
|
Is there a list of syntaxes that can be used in pcfs. I am interested in Bollinger Band Width and Average True Range, but if there is an alphabetical index to all that are available it would be helpful. Thanking you in advance for your assistance.
