 Could I get some help in finding a PCF for finding out if the range of todays bar isnarrower than the range of any of the last eight bars?

 See this for the format:

Scanning for Multiple Narrow Range Bars



Your basically comparing today: H-L

to yesterday: H1-L1
day before yesterday: H2-L2
(and so on)

Using H3-L3, H4-L4, H5-L5, H6-L6, you can go back as far as you like.
