The gap down formula is perfect. It is exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks for listing some formulas here. This is a great help  since I am still new at this.

And I will remember to use the search function in searching for already created pcfs that I might be able to use in the future.

Hi Bruce,

I would like scans for the following.

1. gap down on a 10-min chart and also a fill in the same 10 min bar (if this is possible).

2. a scan for the previous day's low and a breakdown of that previous day's low - 10 min chart

3. a scan for a previous days = rectangle - at least 2 o3 hours worth of 10 min bars and the thinner the rectangle the better

4. a scan for a daily chart for a triangle, lateral moves/ sideways, rectangle so i can use it for different timeframes. 

Suggestion: i've noticed that there have been many pcfs written already. it would be great if all created pcfs are in one consolidated area/file. thank you so much.
