Sir
On the 12/06/05 daily chart of KEF, in the middle window, superimposed on the volume bars, is a moving average of 63 bars. At the 11/29/05 date there is an abrupt change in the slope of the 63 bar moving average. This seems too abrupt for a 63 bar moving average.
Is the moving average the actual value of the bar volumes? Or is this based on a truncated value?

It is based on the truncated value. If there is an abrupt change in the slope of the 63 Bar Moving Average, the Moving Average is probably Simple and the Truncate Volume Bars option is probably either unchecked or set to a very high value. It is the result of the very high Volume for 8/31/2005 dropping out of the Moving Average.
