We sent you an email about the removal of this data on September 29, 2017.

Morningstar has informed us that NYSE and Nasdaq, the providers of short interest, are changing their license agreements for this data. As a result, the following Morningstar fields will be removed from TC2000 effective October 1, 2017:

Short Interest
Short Interest Ratio (days to cover)
Short Percentage of Float

NYSE and Nasdaq are now charging fees for short interest which would require an add-on subscription. If you wish to continue receiving this data, please email us at support@TC2000.com or call 1-800-776-4940 to help us gauge the level of interest for this information. We will follow up next week.

We appreciate your business and can assure you that we are doing our best to negotiate fair data fees.

Is there any chance you could obtain this data from yahoo finance?  It has the same data as morningstar.  Thx

As mentioned, it might be possible that we could add it back for an additional fee if there is enough interest, but we can't just pull information from other sources and include it in the program without permission and/or licensing.
