What is the formula to test for at least a 7% price drop over the last 10 sessions?  I've been trying C <= .93 * C10  but it's not working right.  Thanks, Fred

That formula should do it. What's not working correctly?  I ran that scan and verified with a plot of Rate of Change % with the period set to 10 on the daily chart and all stocks passing were down at least 7% over the last 10 days.

Thanks, maybe it's not working because I'm combining with several other things.  I'm looking for:

RSI<50
Stoch 12,3 crossing up thru 25
CMF <50 during last 3-4 closes
at least 7% drop within last 10 sessions.

Thanks, Fred

Sorry CMF <0 last 3-4 closes, not <50

So what happens that makes you think it is not working? Are you not getting any results or are the results you are getting incorrect in some fashion?

If you aren't getting any results, it could just be that the EasyScans Conditions are too restrictive when they are all put together in the same EasyScan.

What is the name of your EasyScan?

And clarifying CMF, want it be either be under 50 or have been under 50 within the last 3-4 closes.  Thx

Getting inaccurate results in plot as soon as I add the C <= .93 *C10 (I'm plotting vs. using EasyScan)

Also don't know how to program And clarifying CMF, want it be either be under 50 or have been under 50 within the last 3-4 closes.

Bruce:

I took out CMF just to simplify & it's working well with the C <= .93 *C10 so I think it must be in the CMF formula...still need to work that in.

So by CMF do you men Chaikin Money Flow? If so, I'm wondering if you want below the center line (which is zero) instead of below 50.

In any case, the best way to create the condition would probably be to add Donchian Channels to the Chaikin Money Flow indicator.

Set the Period of the Donchian Channels to 4 and the Offset to 0. Then click on the Donchian Channels and select Create Scan Condition to check for Channel Bottom Less Than 50 (or 0 if you mean the centerline).

Create Conditions from Your Chart (5:25)

Hello Bruce,

Need your help in finding the scan for the DRAGON. I understand it can help in finding wedges , flags and pennants.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

I think you are probably referring to the Finding Continuation Triangles And Wedges With Telechart topic. There is also a webinar available on this (although I don't think it uses the dragon terminology).
