I would like to show daily if the SPX closed above or below its 200 day simple moving average (%true?) in the bottom indicator window, while looking at a dsily chart of an individual stock in the main chart window, can I do that?

You could plot SPX prices in a lower pane and add a 200 day moving average to it.
If you have SPX plotted as its own indicator on the chart, you could have a MACD 1,200 plotted with the Data Source set to use the SPX prices instead of the prices for the main symbols on the chart.
You could not however create a Custom PCF % True Indicator and change the Data Source to use SPX prices instead of the main prices on the chart for its calculations and have it work correctly.
I guess you could add another chart for SPX instead of adding a pane with SPX plotted in it, but it would not scroll and zoom with the main chart.
