i'm looking for an uptrend:
1- the lowest close of the last 5 days greater then 50 day moving average at the lowest close of the day
2- the highest high of the last 16 day equal to highest high of the last 30 days
3- STOC K 8,3 under 25
4- OBV greater then .30
==============================================================================
looking for a down trend
1- 200 day moving average of the SPY lower then the 200 day moving average 1 day ago
2- 50 day expotenial moving average of the SPY lower then the 50 day simple moving average 1 day ago
==============================================================================
i'm looking for a down trend here
1- the close 1 day ago is greater then the lowest low of the last 10 days as of 2 days ago
2- the close is lower then the lowest low10 days ago as of 1 days ago

We can do everything besides On Balance Volume (because checking for OBV being greater than .3 is completely meaningless).
MINC5 > AVGC50 AND MAXH16 = MAXH30 AND STOC8.3 < 25
Dealing with OBV & MS in PCF's - how to interp their "values"
QUOTE (tullric) looking for a down trend

2- 50 day expotenial moving average of the SPY lower then the 50 day simple moving average 1 day ago
Any Condition Formula would not be specific to the SPY, it would work with any symbol.
AVGC200 < AVGC200.1 AND XAVGC50 < XAVGC50.1
Which could also be written as:
C < C200 AND C < XAVGC50.1
QUOTE (tullric) i'm looking for a down trend here

C1 > MINL10.2 AND C < MINL10.1 AND AVGC50 < .997 * AVGC50.5 AND C < AVGC50 AND MAXH10 < 1.1 * C AND L > MINL70.1

It should be MINC5 instead of MIN5 and AVGC200 not AVG200C.

If you need these both in the same formula.
AVGC20 > H AND H > AVGC200 AND AVGC200 > L AND L > AVGC50 AND C > C20 AND C > C50 AND C > C200 AND AVG(STOC8.3,3) <= 40

Bruce,
Could you please explain your formula from the above post, I seem to be missing something:
"20 sma of today > 20 sma of yesturday and 50 sma of today > 50 sma of yesturday"
"C > C20 AND C > C50"
instead of AVGC20 > AVGC20.1 and AVGC50 > AVGC50.1
Is this just an oversight or some sort of math trick?
Thank you,
Don

It is a math trick.
C > C20 when AVGC20 > AVGC20.1
And C > C50 when AVGC50 > AVGC50.1
This is because the other 19 or 49 points are common to both moving averages.
