Previously, I was running 12.5 beta as a web version. Now, when I go to beta, I'm prompte to download, which I cannot do in my work environment. Will the ablity to run 126 beta be available to run in the browser?

No, it will not be able to run in the browser as TC2000 version 12.6 is a native Windows application.

So will 12.5 be the last version to run in a browser or will 12.6 be able to do so as the beta gets further along?

No, version 12.6 is a native Windows application, it will not run in the browser.

Do we have a list of new features / enhancements / bug fixes available in 12.6?
Thank you,

This is listed under Help | Release Notes in the TC2000 version 12.6 beta.
http://www.tc2000.com/TC2000BetaReleaseNotes.htm
At this point it is pretty much TC2000 version 12.5 converted into a native Windows application for improved perfomance in Windows.

Does this mean that TC2000 is going to be discontinued on OSX? I really hope this is not the case.

TC2000 version 12.6 is a native Windows application and will only run on a Mac using emulation or virtualization software of some sort.
TC2000 version 12.5 is to be supported going forward as the version for use on a Mac or in a browser.

Thanks Bruce. Is the direction for the future would be on the Windows application?

Future development of TC2000 is being focused on the native Windows application. We hope with .NET being open sourced we will be able to have a native Mac version as well.
TC2000 version 12.5 is probably still going to get bug fixes and some updates going forward (at least in the short term). It is Silverlight, so it allows some cross-compatibility, but Silverlight support is being removed from things like the Chrome browser.

count my request to have TC2000 12.6 and beyond run native on OSX. Native OSX support was a factor in my decision to subscribe. Virtulization is not a reasonable alternative, just an extra layer of complexity.

We are planning on using .NET to allow TC2000 version 12.6 to run natively on OSX if at all possible.
The current implementation of TC2000 version 12.5 which can run in OSX uses Silverlight. This does not add a virtualization layer, but it does add a compatibility layer which would be eliminated if TC2000 version 12.6 can be converted to run natively on OSX.

This thread seems old but i don't know where else to post this.
Suggestions on version 12.6:
It appears one can no longer copy and paste PCF. I actually find myself closeing out of the software and going back to 12.4 if i am creating new PCF beacuse i am often upgrading or refining old formulas.
I would really love the ability to use the arrow keys on my keyboard to scroll the charts one bar at a time and perhaps with the addition of a modifer key zoom in and zoom out.
I actually went to ninjatrader for a while and am comming back to tc2000 because it looks great, learning PCF is easier than learning C and the scanning abilities of tc2000 when combined with PCF is very powerful.
But if i could just hit the arrow key to advance the chart by a single bar i could use it to practice. For this reason i guess it would also be very helpful if the chart scale displayed the close of the right-most bar when scrolled back in time rather than just displaying the most recent price no matter what section of the chart one is viewing. The same would apply to the spread indicators next to the scale - if they could perhaps only be present when one is scrolled fully forward.

12.6 does't have the right-click copy/paste menu, but you can use Ctrl-C to copy and Ctrl-V to paste. I think this was an oversight and has been reported to the development team.
To scroll the chart one bar at a time, use [ to go backwards and ] to go forward. Shift-[ will move 5 bars back and Shift-] will move five bars forward.
Shift+1 will zoom out to the maximum bars available. Use larger numbers to zoom in for more detail. Shift+3, Shift+4, etc.

Great. Knew about shift+num but didn't know about [ & ] thats cool.
I am also wondering if other people have the same problem as me - either my watchlists do not keep up with my chart or my chart does not keep up with my watchlist when viewing $TICK $TICKQ $TRIN $TRINQ.
Different value appears on the chart than on the watchlist. I found an alternative using the tickers TICK TICQ & TRIN-X but can't find a alternative ticker for $TRINQ

Is Worden planning to continue supporting the MAC version? There are a lot of Mac users out here. Don't know what it is with TC2000.

We are currently able to support Mac because of Silverlight. The current Silverlight version of TC2000 is version 12.5. Browser support for Silverlight has become extremely limited recently.
TC2000 version 12.6 and TC2000 version 16 are native Windows applications. We plan on creating a native Mac application as well, but when and even if this will happen is not certain.

Hi Bruce,
Another month has passed since you posted on this issue.
Can you tell us whether 1) Worden developers are working on 12.6 for OSX, 2) the idea of building 12.6 for Mac is still gathering dust in the "some day maybe" file or 3) 12.5 really is the last Mac version of TC2000?
Your comment above ("when and if this will happen is not certain") doesn't inspire much hope for us Mac users. The release notes on 12.5 haven't announced anything new since April 9. If we hear of yet another new feature on 12.6 for Windows, that's a pretty clear signal that Mac users can't expect much more than what we already have in 12.5.
As you know, one of the great things about TC2000 was it's Mac capability, since very few stock analysis applications offer it. Every Windows app vendor cops out by saying that all we need to do is run Windows emulation on our Macs and we'll be fine. No, we won't. Besides the almost $200 to buy Windows and Parallels, there are issues of partition space, performance degradation and more. I'm sure I'm not the only Mac user disappointed to hear Worden offering the same Windows emulation solution for us to run 12.6.
If Worden is going to treat us as second-class customers, maybe we shouldn't be paying the same subscription fee as Windows users.
Sorry you get it with both barrells, Bruce, but you're the only venue for our impatience and ire.

What version of .net are you using for Windows. I"d like to try it on the mac, and since you guys are not helping out, we must do it ourselves.
Thanks.

.NET may have been open sourced, but TC2000 has not. There would be no way for you to do development work on TC2000.

Hi
my suggestion is to remove the new Order column in watchlists or make it removable (it doesn't appear in the list of columns) or at least make it resizeable. It's taking too much space and corrupts the existing windows by forcing other columns behind boundary.
Thanks!
p.s. i can't create a topic due to persisting error "Oops! ...Something has gone wrong" - i tried 120 times.
