Hi,

It would be nice if there is a way to display upcoming earnings date on the chart so that we may be trading a bit cautiously.

I am new to TC2000 and I love it so far. The main feature that I miss is the ability to easily see the next (and maybe passed) earning date. I think it is an important information to know right away while scannig through stocks. My ideal feature, besides having it marked on the chart, would be to have it as a column field in the watchlist with the ability to express it as #days from next earnigs date. It could also go negative for earnigs passed. Example - if earnings were released 5 days ago it would mark -5.

Thank you

I take it from this thread that there is no way to display earnings dates on the charts?  Are there any plans to add this feature?  It would be really helpful.  Thanks

Its an open pending enhancement for a long time. Unfortunately many such good enhancements are in the long list that has not gotten addressed for a while. Paid customers unfortunately do not get any feedback for any enhnacements or bugs posted. Strange development system they got going on. See for yourself at:

Till they add that, what I do now is use finviz.com

You can see a screenshot of that below.

Hope it helps.

The new Version 16 of TC2000 allows us to have the Earnings date in a Column, but I have yet to find a way to show it on the Chart. Also, unfortunately, it appears that the data is highly inaccurate. For example, only 1 of the stocks that reported earnings today were actually listed correctly today (8 Oct 2015). Hopefully, this is just growing pains.

In the meantime, I use the Earnings Calendar on www.Briefing.com . If you Register, you can access them for Free.

We've changed the name of the WatchList Column to Next Earnings (as in Next Earnings Date to avoid confusion with Earnings Dates which might include past dates). There isn't a way yet to plot earnings dates on the chart.

The dates that are being reported by TC under Next Earnings Date where is that coming from?

How does TC know that such date is the next earnings date?

We get our earnings date data from Morningstar which gets the data from company web pages and reports.
