Hi guys,
I'm new to the Worden Studio software and I'm still trying to learn how to use it, and I just have a question... with regards to the "Latest Short Interest Ratio" - what exactly does this indicator do? Is this nothing more than an indicator that shows the amount of people currently shorting the stock?
Thanks.

Here is the definition from the Telechart Help File:
Latest Short Interest Ratio
The short interest shares divided by average daily volume, representing the number of days of average trading needed to cover the shorts.
Historical Short Interest Ratio can be plotted in Worden Studio when it is the criterion used to sort your watchlist.

This is the type of question the trainers can't address here in the Ask A Trainer forum. However, I will move this topic to the Stock and Market Talk forum, where I'm certain that others will comment on your question about Short Interest and increasing volume.

Spread you are pretty much on the right track. Although you have not taken into consideration the inverse of you rationale, and take into account that the market can prove any theorem wrong. I is just a question of probabilities. Good luck.
