You can set alerts in TC2000 version 12.4 to get an audible alarm to sound when the symbol starts meeting the requirements of the alert.

Ok now I know what was the issue
I have a watch list of 200 stocks and I want to be alerted when any of them meet a condition. From what i see i have to space bar through each symbol and create 200 scan alerts. Is this correct?
There is no easy way to create an scan alert for all symbols in a given watchlist?

There is no built in way to create alerts for an entire WatchList of symbols at a time. Alerts in TC2000 version 12.4 must be created one symbol at a time.

It is not nearly so simple to set up alerts in StockFinder because StockFinder doesn't have any built in alerts.
You need to create your owns "alerts" using RealCode. There really aren't any limits to the alerts you built in RealCode in StockFinder. If the RealCode is in the context of a WatchList or Custom Market Indicator, it can be done for an entire WatchList at a time instead of a single symbol at a time.

I am not a programmer and I am not going to be much help with this. Getting the alerts to trigger for an entire WatchList but in a way that they don't keep on triggering constantly is complicated and really beyond the type of thing I can do for you in the forums.
The RealCode Programmers Reference has a section on Simulating an Alert with RealCode Rules which covers one method of creating alerts in StockFinder.

Can this be added as a suggestion for future enhancements. I think it would be very useful to be able to have alerts for stocks within an entire watchlist as opposed to having to create for one symbol at a time
thanks

Bruce, this would be a great enhancement, I hope you guys are able to add suggested feature soon. I'm following 83 stocks with 58 Forex pairs and it's really hard to add a scan condition to all of them.
