I use a MACD setting in TradeStation that I really like, and I'm trying to create the same MACD indicator in TC2000, but the names used for the criteria in TC2000's version are diffrent then the criteria names used in Tradestation's version. The following are the criteria names used in TradeStation's version of MACD, and in the () I've included the settings I like to use;
MacdLen1 (12), MacdLen2 (26), SigLen (9), timeRatio (1), series (close), barFactor (2)
And the following are the criteria listed inTC2000's verion of MACD;
Period, SK Period, SD Period
Can someone please tell me which term in TC2000's version of MACD compares to which term in TradeStation's version? Or, if both software programs use completely different criteria to produce their version of the MACD indicator and there is no way to match the terms up, then can someone please tell me what the settings would need to be in T2000's MACD in order to reproduce the same visual MACD indicator as produced in TradeStation when using the settings I've listed above? Thanks for the help.

Period SK Period and SD Period are the settings for Stochastics in TC2000 version 7 and not MACD.
Understanding Stochastics
The settings for MACD in TC2000 version 7 are:
- Plot in Window: Allows you to choose the Top, Middle or Bottom pane on the chart.
- Short: Corresponds to MacdLen1.
- Long: Corresponds to MacdLen2.
- MACD Color: Allows you to set the color of the MACD.
- Period: Corresponds to SigLen
- Avg Color: Allow you to set the color of the moving average applied to MACD.
- Draw Style: Allows you to adjust the type of line used to draw the MACD.
- Average Type: Allows you to set the moving averages in the MACD to simple or exponential.
- Plot MACD as Histogram: Changes the plot from two lines to the difference between the lines.
- Visible: Allows you to have the MACD on the chart without it actually showing.
The MACD indicator in TC2000 version 7 is always applied to the close. There is no way to change what MACD is using as the basis for its calculation. So there is nothing in TC2000 version 7 which would correspond to the series setting (in TC2000 version 12.4, you could change the Data Source to get this functionality.
I am not sure what the barFactor setting in TradeStation might be, but my best guess is would be that changing the Time Frame of the chart in TC2000 version 7 would accomplish the same thing as changing the barFactor setting.
