Hi Bud, can you please tell me how to link a stock to its sub industry and industry in TC2000 v12?

I have set up 4 charts on one page and wish to link them all.

many thanks

You can add industry or sub-industry as a comparison symbol to the main chart, but you cannot link another chart to the main chart and have it automatically plot the industry or sub-industry.

The symbol itself can be set to match for multiple charts by setting the symbol linking icon color to match (it is a colored box with an S in it in the upper right of the chart).

Bruce,

How does the linking work?  If I have stocks that move about the same, is that when I could link them?

Or

Can I link them for any reason?

Also, once I link them, can I pull that linked group up like a watchlist?  Scan that linked group?

Thanks, Heath

You can't arbitrarily link stocks.

The linking described above involves changing the symbol linking icon in the upper right hand corner of a chart or WatchList. This links the active symbol between charts and WatchLists with the same symbol linking color.
