How do i set an alert for a condition when that condition is true. Right now I have an easy scan that finds all symbols on the S&P500 (or other exchange)  for stocks that meet the conditions parameters.  What i would like is to go one step further and get an alert as each of those symbols meets the parameters of the scan.  Can that be done?  ... (obviously I do not know the symbol names in advance)

You can create a Scan Alert by clicking on Alerts along the left hand side of the chart and choosing Scan Alert from the New Alert section at the top. This will only create an Alert for a single symbol however. It is not possible to create Alerts for an entire WatchLists. EasyScans are currently the only way to scan entire WatchLists at once.
