Can TC2000 set up a scan for moving averages such that the 10 SMA is above the 20 SMA is above the 50 SMA for example? All I want to see is a list of stocks and ETF's that show when this crossover occurs. I'm running a live demo mode but don't see that these parameters are possible. Thanks.

Yes. You could use the following Condition Formula as a Scan Condition:

AVGC10 > AVGC20 AND AVGC20 > AVGC50

Or you click on one of the Moving Averages to create individual Conditions for 10-Period Simple Moving Average being above the 20-Period Simple Moving Average and for the 20-Period Simple Moving Average to be above the 50-Period Simple Moving Average and then use both Conditions as Scan Conditions in the same Scan.

Thank you Bruce. Is that possible on the live demo version of TC2000? If so, I must be blind...

Did you have a chance to review the video at the bottom of my last post? It demonstrates how to create use indicators to create Conditions, Sorts and Scans.

I assumed you already had the Moving Averages on the chart, but to add them, you can just select Add Indicator, choose Moving Average from the list, select Price History as the parent indicator of the Moving Average and then click on the Moving Average indicator and select Edit to adjust its settings.

- Click on the charted 10-Period Simple Moving Average and select Create Condition.
- Click on the Contdition drop-down menu.
- Expand Moving Average 10 vs Moving Average 20 if necessary.
- Select Above Moving Average 20.
- Give the Condition a name.
- Select Save Condition.

- Click on the charted 20-Period Simple Moving Average and select Create Condition.
- Click on the Contdition drop-down menu.
- Expand Moving Average 20 vs Moving Average 50 if necessary.
- Select Above Moving Average 50.
- Give the Condition a name.
- Select Save Condition.

- Select Scan.
- Select Add Condition and choose one of the Conditions you created.
- Select Add Condition and choose the other Condition you created.
- Click Scan.

You shouldn't need Platinum to create Conditions or EasyScans unless you are using a Time Frame shorter than Daily.
