I'm attempting to write a PCF for twice the AVG 30 Day Range. This is what I have, but I believe it is incorrect.
2 * (AVGH30 - AVGL30)
Thank you for the help!

Welcome to the forums. A very good foundation for learning how to use TeleChart can be gained by reviewing the following:

Is there a particular reason you think your formula is incorrect? It looks just fine to me.

Hi Bruce,
Thank you for the input.
It seems the PCF is not correct because I'm attempting to find stocks that have closed up by twice their 30 day average daily range. When I try to sort one of my Easy Scans by the PCF, the stocks at the top of the list are not representative of this. So, that is why I believe one or more of the parameter incorrect.
Thank you, again - David

That doesn't mean your Personal Criteria Formula for twice the 30-Period Simple Moving Average of Range is incorrect, just that you aren't comparing it to the how much the Stock "closed up". If this is measured as a Net Change (from the previous Close), the formula could be written as:
C - C1 >= 2 * (AVGH30 - AVGL30)
If this is measured from the Open, the formula might be the following instead:
C - O >= 2* (AVGH30 - AVGL30)

Bruce,
Great! I'm sure this will solve my problem (including of lack of knowledge). I will give it a try this evening.
Thank you and take care - David
