 Can I add a chart to a layout, lock a symbol to it (eg. DJ-30), define a rule for it and use the rule in backscanner to scan against the main watchlist?

 You can use the Price for Symbol Indicator as the basis of a Rule (or as the basis of a Child Indicator that can be the basis of a Rule) to limit a given Rule to a specific symbol.
