I have successfully upgraded my program to the TC2005 version 6.0 from TC2000 version 5.3.
Can I uninstall (Control Panel > Remove Program) TC2000 without impact to the TC2005 upgrade?

Once you have successfully installed TeleChart 2005, and you have imported any of your personal settings (WatchLists, Notes, Chart Templates, etc.), it is not necessary to keep TC2000 installed on your hard drive. I would feel more comfortable, however, if you would shoot a quick email to the technical support staff at support@worden.com just to confirm what I've said, and to make sure the uninstall is done properly and completely.

Any further feedback on this question? I am trying to free up space on my hard drive, which would be accomplished if I could uninstall the older version.

As stated above, you do not need to keep TC2000 version 5 on your computer once you've imported all of your personal stuff from it into TeleChart 2005. However, since I am not a tech support agent and have no expertise in technical support issues, I would feel better if you gave the support team a call just so they can confirm with you the steps required to remove your old TeleChart completely.

As Worden trainer Doug_H recommended, I contacted support and got the following email reply dated March 22. I also phoned support for another question just yesterday and asked about the removal question once more and was told by the nice lady that I should be receiving instructions on proper removal of TC2000 sometime soon:
"Thank you for writing. We are recommending holding off on removing TC2000 at the moment. I believe that we are going to have an easier procedure for doing this in the near future. Thank you for your patience. Thank You, Jeremy M. www.Worden.com Technical Support Agent"
