I have reviewed the site but I cant seem to locate the help I seek.
I am trying to build a PCF based on MACD 12,26 period 9...and I am looking to scan for stocks where the MACD of 12,26 is crossing up through period of 9 one day ago and below the zero line. I would also like to create the reverse of that scan, above zero.
I have the following:
(XAVGC12.1 - XAVGC26.1) > (XAVG(XAVGC9.1,12) - XAVG(XAVGC26.1,9)) AND (XAVGC12.2 - XAVGC26.2) < (XAVG(XAVGC9.2,12) - XAVG(XAVGC26.2,9))
i am not getting consitent results, Please send help! thanks!

If I read pcarma correctly, I believe this is what he wants:
Just combine two PCFs from below with an AND
MACD below 0 Today and MACD x Up SL9 Yesterday
(XAVGC12.0 - XAVGC26.0) >0 AND (XAVGC12.1 - XAVGC26.1) > (XAVG(XAVGC12.1,9) - XAVG(XAVGC26.1,9)) AND (XAVGC12.2 - XAVGC26.2) < (XAVG(XAVGC12.2,9) - XAVG(XAVGC26.2,9))
To reverse the MACD crossing down just reverse the > and <

Stockguy helped me build the MACD formula below- and I am trying to tweek it a little. I'd like to add criteria that filters out the daily macd turning up (like the first formula) but I want to show only stocks that have a positive monthly MACD...so the filter will sort out all stocks that have the MACD crossing up 1 day ago and then find thaose that meet that criteria and also have a positive monthly MACD... Is this possible?
