Does anyone know of an oil stock / index that lets you directly short the pirce of oil?

I was looking ag oil and oil-x which allows you to buy oil, but are not optionable. I'd like to buy puts to limit risk obviously.

I think the price of oil is going to at least $63 based on the charts. This tells me they think the Iraq surge must also be working. If the Sept report comes back good, oil could plunge.

Any ideas?

you may want to look at USO etf. If I remember correctly, it tracks/purchases front end contracts on west tx crude

Thanks everyone. I think the OIH is what I was looking for. Too bad I couldn't find that this morning. I'd already be up.

DCR is an eft that shorts oil for you & UCR is an etf when you want to be long oil. Not much volume in these etf's yet, but when the volume builds in these etf's it willbe a good way to play oil.

There's another etf to short oil/gas: DUG.

I should have mentioned that DUG is an ultrashort etf, so it's leveraged to move more than it's tracking components.

HOC appears to be 'oversold' according to RSI & Stoc indicators.
