 Is there an adjustment to the NAV to allow for the reinvestment of capital gains distributions or dividend distributions. These two values may run $$s per share and effect comparisons across funds and fund families

 Yes, mutual fund historical NAVs are adjusted for capital gains and dividend distributions.
