Yesterday I post a topic on "Not Responding" status on my TC2005 beta
Forum administrator then wrote that he/she moved my topic to pre-release forum.

But there is no pre-release forum visible on http://www.worden.com/training/default.aspx !

I can't even find this topic when I click on my last 10 topics? My other topics are there except this one .

Yesterday I sent a mail to support but didn't get any response till now.

Could you, please, tell me :
1. Where is that pre-release forum
2. What is solution to my problem with "Not Responding" TC2005 beta

Anyway my TC2005 beta is not working.

Thank for help

I'd like to second that request. I started a thread last night on the program hanging when I tried to import my existing notes from TC2000. Another user had also joined in the discussion with the same problem. We both described the problem in detail and our operating systems.

My post was at: http://www.worden.com/training/default.aspx?g=posts&t=2198 which is no longer available. It has been removed from the board. I also sent an email to the support staff, but have not heard from anyone yet. (Not a complaint, just a statement.) I can imagine things are hectic with the new release.

I understand that the discussion forum might not be the best way to get support answers; however there has to be a better method than just removing the thread. My topic has been removed from my entry list also.

I'm not trying to be a trouble maker or a loud mouth. Nor am I trying to create an issue. I'm a user that loves the product. However, in order for the product to get the bugs worked out shouldn't we be able to discuss the problems we're running in to?

I'm not trying to down Worden Brothers, but not letting users post their technical problems with the program just doesn't seem to be very logical, nor fair.

Let's hope this thread doesn't also disappear and that a Pre-Release forum is something that is currently being set up (which is why the postings are not showing). With a little luck, our previous postings will be placed there along with some helpful suggestions (which the support team is excellent at giving).

Your original post has been moved to the Report a Bug Forum, along with responses given by several of us. I just clicked on the 2198 link in the above post, and it took me directly to your original post and the responses.

Please try this link again.

I too would like to hear something from someone about what is going on.. usually so helpful here but seems some issues with this pre-release..

I was invited to download it so would appreciate a hint here.. have downloaded it twice now to try and get it to install properly but still going directly into 'not responding' on each attempt to start after apparent successful install. I am only on isdn so have so far spent many many hours on this..

I'm checking into what's going on. For some reason, it's acting as it would if you did not have access to the Report a Bug forum.

The original topic, where the problem was reported, was moved by the moderator to the Report a Bug forum. You must have an active subcription to TeleChart or TCNet to access that forum.

The problem you reported (Not Responding) is a known issue that is currently being researched in order to determine the cause and a solution.

Doug,

Thanks for advising that your staff is looking into the problem. I too am a registered user and can't access the 'bug forum'.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Doug,

1. The link you gave points to main discussion forum page - see note by Neil040
2. Well, it seems that Beta release has not only issues but problems, too.
3. It's better patiently wait for more fixed Beta version or perhaps just a new release.
4. I am TC2000 customer for more than one year and subscribed that way to this forum.
To see that Bug Forum - Where is the link to that forum you mentioned.

I have been happy with TC2000 till now and hope will be in the future, too

Just I don't like wasting time searching what should have been where I left it.

I'm sorry that you've had such trouble with the forums. A bug was discovered, and it is being fixed as we speak. You should have access shortly to the Report a Bug forum....which, as a subscriber, you should have had access to all along.

Believe me, I know how frustrating it can be, especially on a website, not to have things working as they should. We are making the fix as soon as we can, and we hope you'll continue to use the forums.

By the way, the reason your post was moved by a moderator is that he discovered that what you reported was a bug, so it really belonged in the Report a Bug forum. The unfortunate thing is that you were inadvertently locked out of that forum for a time, and we apologize.

Remember that TeleChart 2005 is still in pre-release, which means that bugs will still be found. It's an on-going process, but we have an excellent track record of getting bugs fixed in a timely way, once they're reported and verified.

If you have active TeleChart or TCNet service you should be able to see the Pre-Release forums now. Found a problem on our end. Sorry for the inconvenience.

OK. I understand, you guys - stock and/or other - at Wordens' are doing the best ( or I hope it is so ) to deliver all to us, customers only.

I only like this forum could solve issues both minor and major as smooth as possible.

I am currently solving several my ORACLE database issues with OraFaq.com.
And this is by far the most efficient forum I have contributed till now.
