Im a beginner trader, im trying to be conversative and make steady gains. im trading with intel currently. i always hear traders say november is the best time to trade. whats sectors and stocks should i pay attention to?

The Retail Sector is heating up.
Some symbols catching my attention immediately are:
BJ (Possible Private Takeover target) -- Retail, Discount
PSS (Strong Sales) -- Specialty Retail, Apparel
JCG (Strong Earnings) -- Specialty Retail, Apparel
