hello trainer:

I would like to build a scan that would give me all stocks (end of day) that increased a minimum of 500% + above the average trading volume.

By "increased" do you mean closed higher than the day before?

If so, please build the following EasyScan:

WatchList (ALL STOCKS)
Price Per Share (limit based on your trading)
Volume 90-day (limit based on your trading)
Volume Surge Today (limit VALUES: 500 to MAX)
Price Percent Change Today (limit VALUES: 0 to MAX)

Save your EasyScan and enjoy the resulting WatchList of stocks that fit your conditions.

You can even sort your results by Volume Surge Today OR Price Percent Change Today.

Here are two videos to review:

Are you just looking for stocks whose volume today was 500 times the average volume of the market? What will this tell you?

Are you sure you don't mean the stock was up on 5x normal volume for itself (which can be very significant).

If you meant 500% of its normal volume, use the EasyScan I have above.
