Ok, I am getting lazy. However, I also don't want to reinvent the wheel.
Using Platinum, I already know that I can sort a scan by %change and find gappers.
However, there is a condition in Easyscans for gappers. Does/is it supposed to work in real time? I could not get it to work this morning but it does show the gappers after update this evening.
I know there has to be a PCF to find morning gappers.
Your help and assistance will be appreciated.

I believe PCF's can only use close data.
For intraday data you could create 2 percent true indicators:
L>H1
AND
H<L1

diceman,
Thanks for the reply. Apparently you are correct regarding PCFs.
I'll try the indicator method.
I use another program alongside Telechart that gives me premarket data. It has a Gap configuration but I wanted to see if I can consolidate my programs.
Thanks,
Craig

The PCFs are based on DOWNLOADED data, not closing data. You can update your Platinum during the market day and your PCFs can be calcualated on that downloaded 20-min delayed data.

Craig_S,
So, at approximately 9:50 my gap PCf should return results when I choose update, right?
Thanks for the reply,
Craig

chardison, Actual data will not begin to show up until at least 9:50am Eastern because of the twenty minute delay. You should normally be able to get a twenty minute delayed update (and update your Personal Criteria Formulas) either then or a short time later.
