Hi,

All the PCFs you've written in the past for me have worked out perfectly.

Would it be too much to ask for two more?...

1) stock gapping up to form a shooting star

2) stock gapping down to form a doji or spinning top

Thanks

Kaveh

You can find the PCFs you need for your formations here:

Boolean PCFs for Candlestick Patterns

You only need to also add GAPPERS (gap up) to the EasyScan.

Thanks for the advice.

But how would I make the gap precede the candlestick reversal pattern?

Thanks,
Kaveh

What I'm looking for is gap up, tiny body, short lower shadow, long upper shadow.

A perfect example of the setup I'm looking for is BTU 11th May, gap up to a shooting star.

Have looked through the Boolean PCFs but nothing fits that pattern. The closest is gravestone doji/shooting star.

Can you help?

The GAPPERS criterion in your system (add this condition to your EasyScan) will take care of the gap.

You then only need to add the Shooting Star PCF to the same scan. You will end up with stocks that gapped up and formed the shooting star.
