What is the syntax for an Easy Scan that woulf find the following stocks: *Find stocks whose Relative Strength is less than the SP-500 (based on today's numbers). *Find stocks whose Market Cap is in the top 25% of Market Cap for all stocks.
A more general question is where do I find the syntax to build Easy Scans based on fundamental values such as Price/Cash Flow or Dividend Yield?
Thanx for your help

All of the conditions you mention are already ready and available as conditions in EasyScan. Reveiw this video on how to make a scan and use your conditions to make the scan you desire.

EasyScans are built using various conditions. Many of those conditions come built into the program, others are created by you (the user) as Personal Criteria Formulas (PCF's). The syntax you're referring to is really for PCF's, not EasyScans.
Unfortunately, TeleChart does not provide the capability for you to write PCF's based on fundamental values, such as the ones you mentioned. There are many pre-loaded fundamental conditions that you can use in your EasyScans, however.
Finding the stocks you're looking for should be pretty easy, though. First, you can build a very simple EasyScan. Make sure it's based on All Stocks, and add only one condition: Capitalization. Using the rank side of the range selector, eliminate everything below a rank of 75. Name your scan, and you'll end up with a list of stocks which rank in the top 25% of the entire market when it comes to capitalization.
Next, jump to ticker symbol SP-500. Do a custom date sort for whatever period you want. Before clicking OK, take note of the percentage up or down for the S&P 500 (it will be the number that shows in the Custom Date Sort dialog box). Now click OK, and TeleChart will calculate the percent change for each of the high cap stocks in your EasyScan watchlist.
Keeping the performance of the S&P 500 in mind, just scroll down to the last stock with a better percentage performance. From there up, you have the stocks that outperformed the S&P for the time period you specified in your Custom Date Sort. Below, you'll find the stocks that underperformed the S&P 500 for that same period.
