First, can the capabilities of "CountTrue(bx) ->" be used to count the number of time L1 equals other Lows during a period of time. 

What period of time can be used to ensure that the results will be Fast?

Or, Medium?

Or, Slow?

Or Very Slow?

 

Second, same questions for H1...

The short answer would be no, it can't be done an a fully autameted way with CountTrue(b, x).

It probably can be done in some other way, but this is going to be slower. Do the previous lows need to be exactly equal to L1, at or below L1, or "near" L1 (and if "near", how is this defined)?

I mean previous lows that equal L1, looking for Support in the case of Lows and for Resistance in the case of Highs.

I am not sure about whether they should be equal or near.  Let's start with Equal Lows to get an idea of how many hits result.  Then if not enough, we'll look at Nearly Equal Lows.

Your "L1 equals previous lows" works in an Easy Scan and very well as as Column since the Column Value shows HOW MANY HITS there are.  

Question:  When the Column Count is 1.00, does this mean there are no L1 equal to a Previous Low in 499 bars?  

Or, does L1 equal one other Low in those 499 bars?

If the result is 1, then L1 equals exactly on of the lows in the previous 498 bars (the low of 499 bars ago is only 298 prior to the low of 1 bar ago).
