Hi Bruce,
Got an odd problem: Although the Data Manager settings are set to 5,000 bars, I can access that number of bars only up to July 1st 2012, on timeframes other than daily. In other words, all intraday timeframe history stops on that specific date (unless the number of bars referred to is lower than 5,000, e.g. 1mn effectively goes back only to Oct.15). The daily and higher orders series go back to the appropriate dates, e.g. 1984 and below. The behavior is irrelevant of the selected security symbol.
I must have uninstalled and reinstalled everything at least 3 times without any success, making sure the databases were erased and recreated. Your help would be much appreciated.

StockFinder 5 installs the last four months of intraday price history.

Uninstalling and reinstalling would be a bad thing in this particular case.
There is only so much intraday history available when you first install StockFinder. So an installation of StockFinder done today will will have data starting about one year later than an installation of StockFinder done one year ago.
As you continue to use StockFinder, the amount of intraday history increases, but if you completely reinstall the software, the older data will be lost because you are installing a newer version.
We used to sell a mega-minute data pack that installed older data. I don't know the exact start date, but it was about two years of 1-Minute data when it was still sold. There was a change in the way the data was stored between StockFinder 4 and StockFinder 5 however, and the mega minute data was not updated at that time and is no longer available.
