From time to time I get false returns for PCF's that I write. Today for example I wrote a simple one and got stocks that were not supposed to filter in. I never got a syntax error. Here the PCF: c>c1 and c<avgc50

The results return stocks that are higher than the 50MA, and  stocks where the "C" is lower than "C1" etc.
This happens often times. Any thought why this happens?

Are you looking at a daily chart? PCFs only use daily data. If so, please provide some examples of stocks passing that shouldn't (or vice versa).
