Bruce,

I spent a few hours searching ADX/+DI/-DI topics for a formula to be used in a PCF that would provide 2- period +DI/-DI crossovers.  Unfortunately, I was only able to find the 14-period, 10-period, 8-period and 5-period.  Using your Excel autogen sheet, would it be possible for you to provide a 2-period +DI/-DI crossover formula with an accuracy of 1%?  Thanks.

Welcome to the forums. A very good foundation for learning how to use TeleChart can be gained by reviewing the following:

If you are new to TeleChart READ THIS FIRST!

2-Period +DI xUp -DI (1% accuracy as defined by Tanstaafl):

(H - H1) * (H - H1 > L1 - L) * (H > H1) - (L1 - L) * (H - H1 < L1 - L) * (L < L1) + .5 * ((H1 - H2) * (H1 - H2 > L2 - L1) * (H1 > H2) - (L2 - L1) * (H1 - H2 < L2 - L1) * (L1 < L2) + .5 * ((H2 - H3) * (H2 - H3 > L3 - L2) * (H2 > H3) - (L3 - L2) * (H2 - H3 < L3 - L2) * (L2 < L3) + .5 * ((H3 - H4) * (H3 - H4 > L4 - L3) * (H3 > H4) - (L4 - L3) * (H3 - H4 < L4 - L3) * (L3 < L4) + .5 * ((H4 - H5) * (H4 - H5 > L5 - L4) * (H4 > H5) - (L5 - L4) * (H4 - H5 < L5 - L4) * (L4 < L5) + .5 * ((H5 - H6) * (H5 - H6 > L6 - L5) * (H5 > H6) - (L6 - L5) * (H5 - H6 < L6 - L5) * (L5 < L6) + .5 * ((H6 - H7) * (H6 - H7 > L7 - L6) * (H6 > H7) - (L7 - L6) * (H6 - H7 < L7 - L6) * (L6 < L7))))))) > 0 AND (H1 - H2) * (H1 - H2 > L2 - L1) * (H1 > H2) - (L2 - L1) * (H1 - H2 < L2 - L1) * (L1 < L2) + .5 * ((H2 - H3) * (H2 - H3 > L3 - L2) * (H2 > H3) - (L3 - L2) * (H2 - H3 < L3 - L2) * (L2 < L3) + .5 * ((H3 - H4) * (H3 - H4 > L4 - L3) * (H3 > H4) - (L4 - L3) * (H3 - H4 < L4 - L3) * (L3 < L4) + .5 * ((H4 - H5) * (H4 - H5 > L5 - L4) * (H4 > H5) - (L5 - L4) * (H4 - H5 < L5 - L4) * (L4 < L5) + .5 * ((H5 - H6) * (H5 - H6 > L6 - L5) * (H5 > H6) - (L6 - L5) * (H5 - H6 < L6 - L5) * (L5 < L6) + .5 * ((H6 - H7) * (H6 - H7 > L7 - L6) * (H6 > H7) - (L7 - L6) * (H6 - H7 < L7 - L6) * (L6 < L7) + .5 * ((H7 - H8) * (H7 - H8 > L8 - L7) * (H7 > H8) - (L8 - L7) * (H7 - H8 < L8 - L7) * (L7 < L8))))))) < 0
