I want to import TC2000 data into Advanced GET.
GET has option for TC2000 ver 3.0 and 4.0.
Do you know if the present 5.X version will also import?

I am not familiar with Advanced Get personally but our data format did not change from 4.0 to 5.0. You should be fine using the 4.0 format. Let me know here if encounter anymore problems!

I use AG. It will read your data just fine.

I dont want to purchase the AG package is ther any way TC 2000 will help me recognize these features??

Welcome to the TC2000 family! We're glad to have you on board, and we hope you'll visit these discussion forums frequently.

I'm not familiar with XTL trading, but in the next release of TeleChart (TeleChart 2005), you'll have the ability to control bar color for up and down days. Don't think noise will be an option, though.

If you're interested in finding channeling stocks, check out this video:

You're welcome, seevalue! TeleChart 2005, which is currently in a beta test, is scheduled for release sometime fairly early in the new year.

Glad you liked the video. There are approximately 50 or so videos ready for you to watch. They are a great way to become really familiar with many of TeleChart's features. You'll find them all in the Product Help/Tutorial Videos forum.

I am also using AG and I want to know how to import the TC 2000 data into AG. Can it be automated like the normal AG update process or is it necessary to manually force it to update?
Any info about the process would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Taserman

Taserman:

This is an issue that will be best handled by our Technical Support department. I have never dealt with importing into Advanced Get, and if it can be done, the tech guys will have the experience needed to help you. They can be reached via email (I think until 11PM eastern, but maybe only until 9PM) at support@worden.com or you can reach them by phone at 919-408-0542 between the hours of 9AM and 9PM eastern.

I want to use TC data for Advanced Get but when I attempt to download my data, Get pops up a window saying "unable to find dload.dll (c:\windows\desktop\dload.dll).

I'd appreciate some help in getting this to work!

Thanks for responding to my plight, Doug. Randy at eSignal tech support spent close to an hour with me getting this worked out. He was terrific! The problem was on their end, with the eSignal Wizard which wouldn't go away.

Kudos to Tyler at Worden tech support who helped me on Saturday morning. Unlike the fantastic support at Worden which was avaliable on Saturday, eSignal support wasn't available until Tuesday because of the Memorial Day holiday.

I use Advanced GET End of Day, Ver 7.6 (build 148) and I just upgraded to Telechart 2005 from TC2000 5.X. AGET relied on using the CD to get historic data and I loved having all data going back 10 years regardless if I was on daily, monthly, or yearly. Since my analysis requires that I see the extreme high and low.

Now, the daily can't even go back past May of 2004 and the weekly can't go back past Oct 2003. Do you think that the next iteration of the CD would have an extra set of historical data that would help applications like AGET to read it like TC2000 4.X/5.X?

If both programs are up-to-date, there is no reason Advanced GET should not be able to read our data going back 15 years. Try updating Advanced GET to its most recent version (currently 7.9). If that doesn't work, contact eSignal for support.
