Hi,

I am a new MS and TC2000 user. I really love both but do not want to pay for two distinct data providers.

Is anyone using TC2000 data inside of MS? If so, is it a major hassle? Are there any major drawbacks to doing it that way?

Thanks!
BT

I am sure there are more than a few out there that are using TeleChart data to fuel their MetaStock... I hope they comment here for you.

There is a great automatic export feature in TeleChart that will automate the transfer of data to MetaStock format for you everytime you download new data.

I am learning TC2000 but also have Omnitrader. I would like use this last one for backtesting purposes. Do you know if TC2000 data also can feed Omnitrader software? Another systems?

TC2000 data can be used by OmniTrader. I believe Omnitrader actually reads the data from the disk and hard drive with no conversion required. You can confirm this and get a list of all software that can use TeleChart data by contacting our support department at 919-408-0542 or via email at support@worden.com.

I have both, there's a data setting in Omnitrader that will allow you to use TC2000 as it's databank. In fact, Omnitrader will automatically detect TC2000 and ask you if you'd like to do this.
