Thanks Bruce. Let me try the "Scan for stocks bouncing in a lateral channel" as well as what you have mentioned in this post and see what the results look like.

Hi Bruce

I would like to use elements of Elder's Impulse System using TC2000 Version. I am at a beginner level with TC2000. I am using version 12.0.4276.26840 (not sure if this is the latest version)

I would like to

a) have a scan that gives a list of symbols that mean each of the signals listed below; Each of the signals are indepedent

d) color the bar where the signal happened (different for each signal); not sure if this is possible in TC2000

Can this be done? If so, what would be steps to do it?

Interval: Weekly bars, daily bars, hourly bars

Price: Close

Signal 1:
EMA slope is UP and MACD Histogram slope is UP

Signal 2:
EMA slope is UP and MACD Histogram slope is DOWN

Signal 3:
EMA slope is DOWN and MACD Histogram slope is UP

I think determination of the starting point of the slope for EMA is where there the EMA changes direction

I think determination of the starting point of the slope for the MACD Histogram is where Histogram bar peaks for postive, and lowest bar for negative

Thanks!

Hi

How do I define a scan for stocks that are ranging
  1. within a channel of low and high where the high is atleast Y percent (say 15%) from the low
  2. in the last X months (say 3 months)
An example would be HAL until recently.

Thanks!
