Topic: MACD divergence scanner
Posted: Friday, September 14, 2012 3:51:11 AM

Dear Worden trainer,

How would I go about scanning for divergences between price and MACD? Should I use PCF? If yes, would you help write a 2 PCFs - one that on a daily chart scans for divergences in price and MACD Histogram and one that scans for divergences in price and MACD Lines.

Thanks :)

Hi,

I know it's possible to plot MACD-H and MACD lines on same scale in SF5. Is that possible in TC11? If yes, how?

Thank you :)

Best regards,
Rasmus

Hi guys

Would you please help me in describing how to plot channels of 1xATR and 2xATR on a chart in the new TC11? (if not possible, then in SF5).

Thanks,
Rasmus

Topic: Spikes in market indicator -> condition
Posted: Thursday, June 24, 2010 4:54:08 PM
Hi,

I've created a market indicator that gives me buy/sell signals when it spikes below -50 and above 50

A spike is defined as moving down one day then moving up the next and vice versa. In the image above there are 3 spikes above 50 and 2 below -50.

Now, how do I create a condition that makes me able to backtest these buy/sell signals?

Thanks,
Rasmus

Hi Bruce,

I went away from trading for a while so never digged too much into this post, but but now want to look at it again. The telechart topic you referenced to on 20 nov 2009 unfortunately doesn't work well at finding the patterns.

Do you have any other suggestions or more recent realcode for StockFinder 5 for finding ascending/descending triangle patterns?

Thanks,
Rasmus

That helped, thanks.

The market is open now and I would like it to scan for yesterday (close) rather than today. Is there a way to do that?

Of course, but when I choose another watchlist it should scan that without me having to edit the code for the market indicator, right?
