Is there a way to scan for stocks that have high option interest? No particular strike in mind.

Open Interest is an option based criteria, so you would need to be scanning a list of options and not a list of stocks.

You can bring up the options for an entire WatchList of symbols by clicking on the symbol (or WatchList name) in the upper left corner of the Option Chain window and choosing WatchList instead of Active Symbol.

There is a Scan option in the Opotion Chain window allow you to scan the options.
