Hi there,

this might be an easy one, but I am kind of stuck today.

In the Chart Properties is an option to "Show today's open line". Unfortunately this shows the Opening Price from Pre-Market or Midnight (haven't looked further into).

How can I write an Indicator, that always plots a straight line on today's opening price at 9.30? On all timeframes preferably. As it is the first price of the day it should be consistent anyhow.

Any help very much appreciated.

Thanks, Markus

Right click on the chart and select Edit Chart Properties. On the Pre/Post tab, select "only outside of normal market hours".  The line will only show on intraday time frames.

Unfortunately that does not help since I need to view the Pre-market session as well. Especially in the first hour of trading when I would need the Open to be marked.

Please let me know if there is a way to add this as an indicator.

Thanks, Markus

No, there is no way to plot the open base just on market hours if you are also plotting the pre / post market data on the same chart.
