Hidden Divergence Rate this Topic:

Bruce

Please click on the link below and Picture this looking at chart of " GLD"  on weekly  on July 07 ,2017 there is a 5 bar lower low fractal and Nov 03rd 2017 there is a 5 bar higher low fractal 

Now if u see below on Stochastics on the chart with settings 12-3-3

I want a custom pcf spike when Higher low fractal forms but the stochastic goes below the previous low as marked on the chart attached link this is divergence where price makes higher low and stochastic make lower low  even if the higher low fractal is not formed still if the stochastic goes below the previous low circled of July 0,2017 then still pcf should show spike when price remains higher low 

So can we do this PCF  ?

Is a 5 bar fractal a low where price is higher for 2 bars on a both sides (for a pattern which is 5 bars long) or higher for 5 bars on both sides (for an 11 bar pattern)?

Where exactly do you want to start checking? If we only have one higher lower to the right of the central bar, should we start returning true as long as the stochastic value is lower then at the same bar as the central bars of the fractals?

Yes please start checking one higher low (orange dot )to the right of the central bar and start returning true as long as stochastic value is lower then at the same bar as the central bar of the lower low fractal(red dot )

So I can do it on the day after the low (before it is confirmed) and on the day the low is confirmed, but I really can't just keep returning the dot until the stochastic stops being lower. The resulting formula would be too long and slow to be practical or post in the forums.

Bruce the first formula you did is perfect that two dots are enough intimation its good for me... i can eyeball smaller list then what i use too i don't need any changes 

second formula u did inverse where price makes LOWER HIGH AND STOCHASTIC MAKES HIGHER HIGH that is good 

but what i was looking for is price makes LOWER LOW and stochastic make higher low

and using the same idea of 5 bar fractal pcf from my first response above ,

Sorry bruce one quick question 

your FIRST formula posted Monday, December 04, 2017 3:42:10 PM  so can we do  a slight change where the dots ON THE SIDE only show when FRACTAL LOWER LOW (RED DOT ) is higher then previous Lower Low red dot
